I’m a mother of two and a primary school teacher with over ten years’ experience. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialise in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), where I’ve developed a deep understanding of how children learn, grow and thrive.
My teaching journey began at Honeywell Infant School in Clapham, where I taught in the classroom and took on the roles of Head of PSHE and Head of School Council. There I became passionate about supporting children’s emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development — helping introduce “calm corners” and working with teachers on ways to support children’s wellbeing and self-expression.
I later spent three years teaching Art at Notting Hill Prep School, continuing to nurture and inspire young children in a caring, creative environment.
Throughout my career I’ve seen first-hand how important it is to give children the tools to understand and express their feelings. Creativity, art and mindfulness help children build confidence, resilience and emotional awareness — simple techniques that support them now and throughout their lives.
I started The Little Chill Club to give children a space to play, connect and learn how to manage big feelings through fun and creativity.
